You can edit the language Fera.ai notifications show in by going to the
This won't change the app to the set language, it remains in English by default. What it does is translates the language of all of the notifications of the widgets.
We have translations for the following languages:
We aren't perfect, and neither are the translations. Some users may want to change how language appears for certain dialects, or call their 'cart' a 'bag instead, and so on.
So we've given you full access to the templates to edit the language yourself, and it's very easy.
Each widget has a 'Custom HTML/CSS (Advanced)' Tab. In this tab, you can enable/disable the templates.
Click on Add Widget under the 'Widgets' tab.
Edit an existing/create a new one.
Go to the "Content" tab.
Click the three dots at the bottom of the tab and click the toggle to show Advanced Options.
Click on the "Open Editor" button under Custom HTML/Liquid and enable it.
Finally, edit the Liquid template that shows up and hit done.
Once you enable the editing function, a screen will open that is full of the code that creates the notification.
We're using the Low Stock + Viewer Count in Product List as an example.
The message in English says "Only 1 left! 3 people viewing".
There are parts of this we can ignore, like the counts.stock as the value will be pulled from the product inventory information.
You will also need to translate the words "only", "left", and "people/person viewing" or "recently viewed".
So, to explain it in the simplest way you are looking for these words within the code in white text. Below the words are highlighted by the red boxes.
You can replace these words in the code by typing in whatever the translation is.
So for example "Only" in French would be "Seulement". Just type "Seulement" in where "Only" was and hit the 'Done' button.
As a result, this will update the preview and you can see your changes and how they'd appear to your customers on your store's website.
You'll see something similar in each of the other widgets. Find the words in the white text that match the words that appear in the English preview, and replace them with your own translations.
If you find that you don't like it, then just revert it back to the original by clicking 'reset to default template'.
You must leave the Edit HTML/Liquid Templates enabled or your changes will not appear!
You will be able to see the changes you make in the previewer. It's on the right side of the content editor and will automatically reflect the edits you make.
To be able to see the edits you made live on your website, make sure to save and launch.
You need to keep the templates enabled if you edited anything in the 'Custom HTML/Liquid' editor, otherwise, it will show the default templates live.
Make sure to test the different versions (1 person versus 3 people, and add to carts versus purchases) to make sure you edited all of the text options correctly.
To reset any changes to a template click the 'reset to default template' text.
