How to export your reviews to Google Shopping listings

⚠️ Before Integrating Google Shopping with Fera, please note that you need:

  • A Google Merchant account to utilize this feature. Head over to the Google Merchant Center to set this up.

  • 50+ reviews to use this feature.

  • Fera will only integrate the approved product reviews and contain a body; that is required by Google. Product reviews in Pending Approval, Pending Update, or Declined state will not be integrated.

⚠️ If you have reviews that are in a product group, ensure that there are not many groupings or variants; otherwise, they may not show up on your Google Shopping Listing.

Follow these steps to get your reviews to show up in Google Shopping.

Go to your settings (in your dashboard)

Step 1: Click on Configuration in the left-hand menu

Step 2: Click Setup (Click here to get to your setup page)

Step 3: Select Integrations from the drop-down menu

Step 4: Scroll down to find Google Shopping

Step 5: Click on the green Connect button

Step 6: Copy the link given

Navigate to the Google Merchant Center

You can access the Merchant Center using this link: https://merchants.google.com

  1. Click on Marketing

  2. Click on Product Reviews

⚠️ Warning: If you don't have a Product Reviews option you'll need to fill out the Product Ratings Interest Form.

  • ⚠️ Under 'Do you work with an approved third-party reviews aggregator?'

    • Select 'No'

Google will approve or deny your application to have a reviews feed.

Add a product review feed

  1. Click on the '+' button at the top left of the screen

  2. Name your feed

  3. Select the Scheduled Fetch radio button

  4. Click Continue

Add the feed link from your dashboard

  1. Name your feed

  2. Add the link given to you in your dashboard

  3. Click Create Feed

  4. Click Fetch Now

Connect Google Shopping

Head back to your dashboard and click on the Connect button,

Wait for Product Feed Approval

Once you have completed all the steps above, Google will validate your feed and contact you if there are any issues.

⚠️ Please Note: Providing a feed does not guarantee that your content will be included in Google Shopping.

Product feeds are displayed at Google's discretion and you must meet have all the correct product data.


Please note, that you might need GTIN Numbers associated with each product.
