One-time Campaigns

How to request reviews/photos/videos from existing customers at once.

A one-time content/review request campaign allows you to send a mass email/message to your existing customers or contacts and ask for a submission of product reviews or other social proof content that will show within one of your widgets.

To set up a one-time content campaign,

  1. Click the 'Onetime' link from the sidebar under the 'Campaigns' section

  2. Click 'Add'

What to Request

You can choose what type of content you want to request.

If you want reviews, leave the default option enabled. Customers can also submit photos/videos as part of their review.

If you don't want reviews and only want photos and/or videos submitted as part of this campaign, choose the 'Photos & Videos' option.

Incentives for reviews

You can attach 3 types of incentives for customers that submit content through this campaign:

Discount on Future Orders

For all platforms, you can offer discounts/coupons in exchange for their submission. These discounts can be used on future orders.

Loyalty Points (with Smile.io)

If you're running a loyalty points program with Smile.io, then you can offer loyalty points in exchange for their submission.

Cash-back (Shopify Only)

If you're running a Shopify store, you can offer cash-back to certain customers in exchange for their submission.

Message Customization

In this section, you will see a simple editor that will allow you to change the customer's messages.

Follow-up (2nd) Message

You can turn on a 2nd follow-up message that will automatically trigger a certain time after the first message is sent if the customer still has not submitted any content through the campaign.

Who to Send To

In this section, you can decide who you want to send the one-time content campaign to.

Sending to Past Orders

You can send your request to past orders (recommended). To do this

  1. Click the 'Recent Orders' tab

  2. Choose which orders you want to send the request to

Sending to Custom Contacts

If you don't have some people in your store as orders, you can manually enter contacts that you know purchased your products.

This is useful for family and friend purchasers, especially as you are starting your business.

Sending to Imported Contacts (from CSV)

You can upload a CSV (excel file) of contacts that you want to send this one-time request to. To do this, click the 'Imported Contacts' tab and follow the on-screen instructions.

Launching

Once you're ready to launch your one-time review/media request campaign hit the 'Launch' button.

Use the 'Test' button to test sending the campaign message before you launch it so you know everything looks perfect.

After the campaign is launched then Fera will immediately start sending messages to customers.

To send to future customers automatically after each order, create a One-time Content Campaign instead.
